Does Mr. Hoft ever tell the truth? How influential is Hoft on the Republican Party? Republican politicians seem to always seek out Limbaugh’s approval (see Rubio’s recent appearance on his show to discuss immigration reform), but I’ve not heard much about Mr. Hoft in the mainstream press.

Unfortunately, Hoft is actually quite influential. His fake outrages often make it onto Fox News, although they rarely credit him. And this lying post of his is currently the big headline at Drudge Report.

Yes, Jim Hoft is a pretty good representative of the Republican Party. This is where they’re at.
