This isn’t like adult rape cases, where claiming false accusation is your standard throwaway defense. Parents get *scared* and inadvertently extract lies from their kids. Check out those cases — the criminal justice handling was (and might still be) a complete mess. Accused might as well be guilty. Do you really want to equate the two? Innocent folks spent years, even decades in jail owing to that attitude.
