Problem Child knows the sound of the Tupperware that the deli-style turkey comes in. When you open it, he comes running.

They all know that the sound of plates being gotten out of the cabinet for wet food.

I’m fairly certain Problem Child knows he’s not supposed to be on the counter, which is why we’ll routinely hear a thump when we’re out of the room followed by him walking out - and sometimes he’ll run past us like he knows he was doing something he would get in trouble for.

Ours knows turkey…ham…tuna…wet food…dry food…just food in general. He’s got our schedule down pat, so he knows to be in the kitchen just in time for dinner and where to sit to get table scraps.
