OK, that was weird. Showed much of Iowa’s halftime band show. Then, Stanford’s “unconventional” band takes the field. They show about 15-seconds of closeups—rainbow wigs, pretty funny formation—then switch to really wide aerial shots, then cut away to a commercial block with about a zillion commercials, then come back and it’s highlights, more commercials and no band. Wonder what they were doing that got ESPN all riled. Tweets saying they mocked the whole state of Iowa…
