Daniel Dale is taking her to task, gently. But I think, honestly, that the examples he gives of Trump backtracking and/or correcting himself when challenged are underwhelming. He simply twists out of your grip and keeps going.

There’s something to be said for ‘giving him enough rope’, and Dale’s best point is that the articles describing the interviews don’t fact check him much, either. THAT may be their worst failing.

I don’t know. I honestly think the only ‘prosecutorial’ interview that might work is an ACTUAL prosecutorial interview. Christ, look at his deposition! His lawyers had to admit to his lying something like 30 times.
