Good points.
Do you want to throw in some points of how you think we can balance the needs of the students for what they need?
By the way, when you say poor students that can be taken a couple of ways. Poor economically or poor in the ability to study and learn? The second âpoor studentsâ can be in all types of neighborhoods rich, poor, Black and White.
As a former poor in money student who performed pretty far above average on a lot of topics and kind of average on others, theyâre talking about money poor. Even for me, someone who graduated really high in my class, there were a number of things that would have been useful for me to have had, but cost money my parents didnât, from English tutoring to help preparing for college. Had I had those things, I donât think it would have taken me two tries to get through college.
