I’m not going to put that completely on Reagan; everything I’d ever read or heard about what happened to Challenger boiled down to NASA managers getting “go fever”, even when their own engineers and contractor personnel basically begged them not to launch at those air temps.

It definitely boils down to not listening to experts. I’ve always had an interest in the NASA program since my grand aunt worked for NASA In the Apollo years.
