‘Chicago Democrat corruption’ is a very common canard: Trump just pardoned Blago yesterday, not one peep about it.

Logan Act defense trope was ‘it’s an old law never enforced’ yet now it’s trending against Murphy. This is doubly asinine because Trumpers, while still private citizens, were acting as government emissaries engaging with other governments, while Murphy is actually a Senator with the actual power to engage with other governments.
Make that triple asinine: remember Tom Cotton and other senators writing a letter to Iran?
