I’m tempted again to defect from Texas, but I want to stay and fight it out until we turn it blue. This means a lot more than waiting for the immutable force of demographics. The Repugs are pulling out all the stops to retain power even as a shrinking minority. Their every action seems directed toward that goal, and they are getting away with it.

Texas has one of the lowest turnouts in elections of registered voters because of various obstacles that hinder voting. It is quite possible that Texas would be blue today (at least for statewide elections) if not for the deliberate hindrances placed in preventing people from voting. How can you take control and stop them if you are unable to vote and the current SCOTUS approves of these malicious attempts?
