Heh. When I built the second bathroom I so wanted to use this wooden seat and lid that I had. Not to be, as the hinge bolts were so far gone that I ruined the seat trying to get them off.

Beautiful wood, with a smooth, even grain. Would have looked nice.

Splinters can be a bear.
