I love armadillos. And I don’t think armadillos have much to repent of. A tendency to hang out in the middle of the freeway is a terrible survival strategy, but it’s not a sin.

They have the redeeming quality of being the only animal other than man to carry leprosy, making them the only tests subjects suitable for investigating that disease.

This does, however, make them a poor choice as pets.
