Another Godwinian foray by David Klinghoffer. They attempt once again to discredit Darwin by associating his theories with eugenicist politician and of course, Hitler.

Darwin was a scientist and foremost, an observer. His writing on social evolution were not a fictional creation but instead based on his analysis of his observations and studies of humans. Social evolution, eugenics, and “survival of the fittest” all existed prior to Darwin’s theories and were practiced by humans from a cognitive level to organized political movements.
