Doha accomplished little to nothing again. The general gist of these meetings seems to be “give the developing countries billions of dollars and we’ll forget about CO2 emissions.”

In fairness to some of the developing countries, especially the AOSIS group and similar small nations, they often make a point that the money doesn’t matter if they lose their nation. Thus many have pushed for radical changes in carbon consumption regardless of “funds”.
