As for the controversy surrounding the clown with the firearm, a better red herring than this couldn’t have been manufactured by all the networks combined. Rather than focus on this monstrosity of a bill, and the wretched excuses for humanity who are trying to foist it on a disillusioned public, we get this. If the cops really wanted to arrest this guy, a ‘disturbing the peace’ beef would keep him in jail until a judge set the terms. Instead he’s on TV (I know, it’s MSNBC, but technically it’s still television) as the representative of all who disagree with the campaign for the bill. This is getting crazy. It is not the public, or me, or the “right wing” that’s cracking up, though. It’s others, who I dare not name, who seem to have bitten off far more than they can chew.
