I think that ship has sailed in this country, it’s just way too easy to get guns, the culture is pro-gun in America, it’s one of those levers by which republicans can be hypnotized into freaking out. it’s a tribal identifier, it’s political leverage. Even my very good friend who is very smart, was buying the NRA kookery about Obama commin’ ta take yew gunzz away :P Eventually he realized he was listening to “friends” who were being wantonly manipulative, and after the election the “friends” sorta went full birther and showed their true colors :D

The funny thing about that is they said the same thing about Clinton. They do it to all Democrats.

But this isn’t a politicized issue… no…. *sigh*
