I keep thinking at what point do we run out of time. November is looking awfully far away.

I feel for those of you who think that getting to November is what will end this. Even if we win both chambers on a miracle, things will only be getting started. The only way we’ll have any kind of leverage in the Senate beyond investigating is if us, the voters, scare the remaining Republicans.

What just happened isn’t the end of the Republic. What’s going to happen over the next few months won’t be either. Will it be pretty? No. But he’s increasingly boxing himself in.

It’s going to be up to us to hold it together. It’s not over until we give up. I would hate to think that we can’t hold up as well as kids who got shot at and had their friends taken from them.
