Remind me again what Paul Reubens did that was so bad his career had to come to an end?

Whacking off in the middle of a XXX theater while his TV show was still in production.

Not necessarily judging, because what would people think would happen in a place like that, but definitely not a good PR look afterwards. Hence, the show was canned and Pee-Wee was put on ice for a long time, though Reubens has done some notable roles in movies and TV outside of his PW character (Blow, for one).
