What bugs me is they always bring up the families of the 9-11 victims like there’s some unaminous opinion of the families against Park 51. I’ve seen stories of family members interviewed that support it. And honestly right wing pundits haven’t exactly been charitible to 9-11 family members who disagree with them. Remember Coulter and the Jersey Girls and her nasty comment about how their husbands hated them or O’Reilly’s hostilty to the son of one victim whose sin was disagreeing with Bill on the Iraq war. I understand emotions may run high but this is the same country that allowed a bunch of Neo-Nazi assholes to march through a town with a large amount of Holocaust survivors and it is a textbook literally speaking story of the importance of the 1st amendment.
