Heard an interesting report on NPR yesterday about internet trolls. People have studied Trolling and found that on sites that require email signing linked to things like Facebook, the vitrol is significantly less, obviously because people can be traced.

That’s what I always figured would be the case, but I’ve seen some amazingly idiotic Facebook comments with real names, faces, and even workplaces attached. So sites with Facebook comments might be an especially useful way to determine who has common sense and impulse control, and who most definitely does not.
