But you’re wrong.
Rooney might end up with the appointment, but he truly believes that Barack Obama was the better choice for president.
I don’t see anything wrong with that.
If you researched Rooneys history, he’s a very principled man.
He issued the “Rooney Rule”, essentially a step towards affirmative action, so his politics have gone both directions.
I’m not sure what the problem is and, and especially insinuate that his support was somehow linked to a personal and selfish perk for Rooney.

Rest assured I have always respected the Rooney family, they are a great tradition in the NFL.
I just reported O’Riely’s speculation about the Ambassadorship.
I think that itr is faiir speculation, in light of Dan Rooney “thanking” Obama, before the trophy presentatoion.
