Apparently not so much. Let’s see - The Soviet Empire is long gone, replaced with a gaggle of hyper-capitalist countries, including Russia. China is only nominally communist, in that the communist part still holds power, but it’s economy is a completely unrestrained capitalist extravaganza rivaling our own Wild West days. The few remnants of communism left over from Cold War days are small and inconsequential; even Venezuela can only lay claim to being quasi-communist, at best.
Capitalism has completely overwhelmed communism, worldwide. It’s last dregs - Cuba, North Korea - will either reform their economies and join the rest of the world in embracing capitalism, or snuff themselves out - Cuba most likely the former, North Korea, sadly, likely the latter.
