And they WERE simpler times - no drug use to speak of, any fights were with folks using their fists and maybe boots, but not Tech 9’s and Glocks, y’all didn’t have to worry about IDIOTS getting elected POTUS and folks were respected for working for a living instead of VOTING for a Nanny State so they wouldn’t have to take care of themselves; personal responsibility was accepted as “Normal” behavior.
