I don’t understand why, if you’re so paranoid, you feel the need to let The Watchers know how paranoid you are, and that you’re on to them.

Shouldn’t you stay quiet in your paranoia, so as to lull them into a false sense of security, rather than literally shouting your seekrit countermeasures to the entire internet world?
