Sean Hannity’s Twitter timeline is a Dumpster fire of derp.

Though my village overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump, pretty much no one in town is talking favourably about him now.

Right after the election I got the “har har” treatment from a few (minority number) of people over my support for Hillary Clinton.

Now? It’s been damn silent as folk seem to have figured out they were hosed by the GOP.

That probably won’t turn them into overnight Democrats. Too much conditioning from the GOP that liberals are evil, godless (well, I am but not most Democrats), anti-American, yadayada.

However, if they feel the GOP sold them down the river, that might depress turnout in a future election.

The way I see it, Democratic messaging shouldn’t be about trying to flip Republican votes (except for a small minority of voters that won’t likely happen). It should be (especially in Red states) trying to a) Present the Democratic platform to show how it helps individual voters and b) Hang Trump and his entire cabal around every Republican running for office that hasn’t specifically disavowed him.
