OT, but in the previous conversation on handguns and bows I revealed that I was a BSA dude. Actually, I am an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow veteran. It’s kind of a wonder to remember that to myself now—hey, I spent a night in the woods in northern Wisconsin alone with a tin can and water, a 1/4 lb of hamburger, a knife, a flint and tender kit, and insect repellent. I made a fire, made a sapling burger-holder, made fiddlehead fern soup in the tin can, and basically stayed up all night in my lean-to tending the fire because I was scared of bears. I didn’t know that adults were walking around making sure we were ok until later. Oh and the day of silence the next day! Fun tour down memory lane.
