The rest of the EU knows that the longer the delay the more likely that there will be a new UK government and one that may campaign on staying and just to junk Brexit. That’s why the Brexiteers are so angry. The longer the process takes, the more likely their aged Brexiteer supporters are to die off, frankly. Young people over all voted to remain.
