Then there’s Rev. Pat Robertson on the other side of the city.

He got a ticket once driving on Atlantic Avenue for not having a license. Somehow the courts fixed it so that didn’t count.

Back when I lived there, the state made a point of putting “military” in big letters on city/county property tax stickers in the windshield of a car if you were from out-of-state and exempt from property tax.

That made it easy for the Va. Beach Police to pick out the military personnel from NAS Oceana, NS Dam Neck, or other bases in the region for personalised harassment.
