This website gets visited many hundreds of thousands of times per day consistently, there’s a few thousand comments that get posted per day on busy news cycles. ONE FUCKING GUY, Charles Johnson, moderates all that shit. And you’re telling me Facebook and Twitter, with their tens of thousands of programmers and hundreds of thousands of support staff can’t moderate their websites? You’re fucking full of shit if you believe that.

This is a niche website. If suddenly a hundred thousand people decided to join, and then they brought their friends, Charles would have to severely restrict how people join or shut the site down. And the single page format just wouldn’t support that many people. He wouldn’t be able manage a large number of people.
