I have already made plans to leave the country for good if anything like Jan 6 happens again in 2024-25. As far as I’m concerned, the country is already finished.

sadly for me, i’m learning portuguese, but it’s the brazilian variant, which means I don’t have any good place to flee. I’ve wanted to learn the language so I could go to Lisbon, but sadly nobody likes to offer a full-throated language-learning program for continental portuguese. It’s always Brazilian. The continental programs are always like 30 lessons, which kind of sucks.
