Then the IDF needs to bring some troops trained as ‘tunnel rats’ (to dust off a term of the Vietnam War). Find the tunnel exit and then use the tunnel to enter the hospital and take the terrorist by surprise and from the rear.

I’d hazard the guess that the Israeli Special Forces will be doing just that - not that we’ll hear about it!
