When you march in a group, if someone unbeknownst to you carries a wrongheaded message or yells a nasty slogan, you are forever tarred by association with that message.

It is way, way too risky to make such a mistake. The Left does it all the time, which is why they look as bad as they do. Why follow their foolish example?
