Escorting blacks to the polls in the South in the 60s was combating racism.
Refusing to patronize establishments that discriminate is combating racism.
Going after the klan with RICO statutes is combating racism.
Being the best example of a friend and neighbor no matter the makeup of your neighbor is combating racism.

Playing tit-for-tat with skinheads blogging from their mommy’s basement… not so much.

I volunteered A LOT when my son was in school and in jr. high, on an achievement test day, I came across some black kids in a room and asked what was up with that. The answer was so lame I called the head of the Urban League to let him know about it. It was the worst of schools in many ways…
