Yes, he is, but I bet that the mighty Egg of Power is not even African. The egg is made of coffee tree wood — authentically African enough, though East African. The hand is made of monkeypod tree wood — which grows in South American and the Pacific Islands, not Africa. That does include Hawaii, at least, but unless it was custom-made for him by someone who got into it that subtly, it’s really a goofy sort of symbol.
