Yes, it did, but we didn’t have the internet then and news traveled more slowly. I was a Freshman at UGA at the time, and I remember compared to the news about Trump, the news about Nixon’s role in Watergate unfolded at a much slower pace.

The Nixon White House was not filled with stupid, backstabbing malcontents all trying to clamber over everyone else to be top of the shitpile.

Trump VALUES loyalty, but doesn’t reciprocate, so he gets the kind of loyalty you get when you publicly humiliate the people who work for you on a regular basis.
