Not for nothing, but if the Clinton affair happened today, it would probably mean the end of a presidency. The power dynamic between POTUS and any staffer is such that I’m not sure you can call any sexual relationship consensual. Clinton was somewhat lucky in that we as a society hadn’t really thought about those kind of things at the time. Now, we have two decades worth of case law on things like sexual harassment in the work place and hostile work environments.
