Frankly, if Gilbert and Carsey-Werner wanted to have a show in the Roseanne-niverse, something like this would have been much less fraught with the danger of Roseanne repeatedly sticking her fucking foot in her mouth, because if Roseanne was reduced to a guest/supporting star on a new show, it wouldn’t matter nearly as much what she did or said off-air.

Do a show on what it is like to have a Trump fanatic in your family and how you need to get that person out of your life and move on because they are just too crazy to deal with and hurt the family dynamic.

It isn’t like that is a far out concept. In fact many could relate.
