It amazes me how two men like Kavanaugh and Trump, who on paper should be the kind of people that WV voters would dislike for being elitist assholes are well liked there because of right wing identity politics that convinces the electorate that those guys are more your friend than a PoC liberal who wants to make your community a cleaner place to live.
