Those are not merely paranoid fantasies, they are part of a nationwide effort on the part of the GOP not to repeat the mistakes they made in 2020. They came within a hair of pulling it off, too: only a record voter turnout for Biden was (barely) able to stop them.

They are not inevitabilities either, but they are well on their way to being implemented if responsible citizens do not take definitive action to counter them.
