In general you’re right, especially as I assumed everyone would catch the reference.

El Salvador has a 100% anti-abortion law. Anyone and everyone involved in one goes to prison. Failure to report one earns a ticket to prison. There are paid informers in the medical system in case the fear and other human pressures are insufficient.

(See This NYT article. OTOH the article was criticized because of a factual error - the woman who got 30 years did so on a charge of homicide for killing a full-term infant. The counter-point to that was that a large part of the trial was convincing the jury the infant was full term, not pre-term. The truth? Rashomon rules are in play.)
