You know the NFL commissioner? That guy heads the overseeing (governing) body, the NFL. His organization, though funded almost exclusively by the for profit activity of teams, is considered a nonprofit, thus pays no taxes and this allows the teams to write of their dues and assessments. So your argument that the NFL receives no federal support is complete and utter crap.
