Just like when everybody always says “get rid of farm subsidies” and then one day later they’re screaming “BUT MILK WILL BE 8 DOLLARS A GALLON!” That’s right. The US government is subsidizing the dairy industry which allegedly keeps milk prices low. Which is it? The same thing would happen if you got rid of oil subsidies. Get rid of those and the price of gasoline would climb.

So none of the oil subsidies go to corp profit and executive wages?
