Howard wrote the original Conan stories as well as others, he was influenced by Lovecraft since they wrote for the same magazines.

If you want long books to read I recommend The Wheel Of Time series by Robert Jordan (and continued by his son) I think they’re in the 14th book or so.

It was not continued by his son. Brandon Sanderson is not related to Robert Jordan. He did however say the reason he became a writer was because of Robert Jordan.
