I was good friends with the guy that wrote it. I own a whole lot of his music that archives don’t even have. I say once was friends, because he sort of went over the edge in his late 60’s and got real anti-Semitic… mainly ranting about the music business and Jews… and I broke off my friendship in 2001 because of it.
