There were multiple incidents of videotaped violence against protesters at Trump rallies — many of which were encouraged by Trump himself. That was the end of civil political discourse in our nation. That is what was rewarded when Trump became President.

The conservative closed universe believes only that liberals were attacking and beating Trump supporters outside the rallies. I saw this shit again at Dreher’s place yesterday. Of course, the sources for these claims are always the usual cast of Albanian bot farms and Infowars, but it will be used to justify retaliation and assaults or shootings of liberal protesters.
