It honestly has me wondering how he’d respond to any electoral defeat whether it be a midterm loss or re-election. I mean if he were saying some cliche like “Presidents don’t rely on poll numbers to make their decisions” or something to that effect, fine. But completely denying his proposals are unpopular and calling the polls that show they are lies is well frankly the likes of something we’ve never seen in this country.
