What I love about Rand though? How many so called devout Christians give her credit for influencing their view of the world and especially economics. I mean don’t get me wrong. I have my problems with Christianity but the founders of Christianity did not intend for Rand’s views to be the foundation of Christian inspired economics. I guess it’s why I prefer non-religious economic conservatives, they don’t hid behind religion. They’re greedy, yes, but they don’t pretend to be pious either. I hate fake piety if you can’t tell.

Rand inverts the equation, making economics the most important part of the system. It’s why Republicans love it. But it’s wrong. Capitalism is not a goal.
