Holy cow. There are four states that passed the Equal Rights Amendment and then rescinded it.

The article does state that there’s no real legal precedent for that, but still. How backward do you have to be to roll back a ratification of an EQUAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT?!

I note with some surprise that Indiana, that nest of conservative wingnutism that it is, has actually ratified it.
