SRA is the deliberate manipulation of vulnerable Christian psyches.

Those who do not believe in an entity called Satan cannot be taken in by such a con. Since religions require suspension of critical thinking specifically about things like demon possession, if you can weave a plausible story about demon possession, then a religious person can be snared by it.

Note the number of atheists who believe in Satanic Ritual Abuse is zero.

Technically to believe in SRA you would not have to believe in Satan, just in Satanists who believe in Satan and that Satan wants them to do those things.
