There are plenty of places in the world where people could do a lot of good if they wanted to go down guns blazing. There are a lot of jihadists wasting oxygen and destroying lives in too many corners of the globe. But dying a lonely death in the Sudanese desert fighting the Janjaweed won’t get you on the 6 O’Clock news.
