re: #72 allegro

I’m not one to subscribe to the notion that upon death all become temporarily worthy of a feigned respect that was not earned during life. I do feel compassion for his family and know that the days, weeks, and months ahead are going to be very, very difficult for them. They have my most sincere condolences

There is a meaningful difference between respect and acting respectful, I think. I did not, do not, and will not ever respect Andrew Breitbart, but I feel that I can state that without disrespecting his memory or those around him, for whom I do feel sympathy at this time.

(unless it’s empathy; I never did figure out the difference between those two)
